Emily Fu joined critically-acclaimed Executive Chef Jonathan Benno at Benno and Leonelli Taberna in September 2019. A deeply experienced pastry chef, she works on seasonal menu changes and holiday offerings for both restaurants. Emily incorporates classic techniques with seasonal flavors resulting in a pastry program that features both traditional and modern flavor profiles.
Prior to joining Benno and Leonelli, Emily served as Pastry Sous Chef at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, The Four Seasons Restaurant, Gordon Ramsay at The London Hotel and The Modern in New York City. Emily graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, with an associate degree in Culinary Arts and a bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management. Currently living in New York City, Emily enjoys spending time with her daughter, Genevieve, and is always on the hunt search for the perfect chocolate cake.
